Dannielle is excited to be your ally and guide on a transformative journey towards liberation through mindfulness. Her mission with Wildly Still is to dismantle barriers and make mindfulness and meditation accessible to all, with a special focus on helping people from marginalized groups reclaim mindfulness practices for healing.
For the past 10 years, Dannielle has committed herself to the practice of mindfulness, recognizing its profound potential as a tool for both personal and collective liberation. Guided by the foundation of her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University, and her ongoing progress towards a PhD in Psychology, Dannielle believes that understanding the science of mindfulness and meditation can empower individuals to reclaim their peace and their power.
Dannielle is a Level 1 Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher through the Brown University School of Professional Studies. She is pursuing ongoing mindfulness teacher training to deepen her expertise in bringing evidence-based mindfulness to diverse populations.
Over the last five years, Dannielle has designed and taught undergraduate and Master’s level courses including "Psychology of Mindfulness," "Introduction to Psychology," and “The Psychology of the Artistic Self.”
As a teacher, her goal is to take complex topics and make them not just understandable, but enjoyable. She loves breaking down the science of mindfulness and meditation in ways that are engaging and easy to grasp, with practical, everyday applications.
In addition to her teaching roles, Dannielle has over seven years of hands-on experience in clinical settings. She has led Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills groups for adolescents and families, integrating mindfulness techniques to support emotional regulation and resilience. She has also had the privilege of co-facilitating an 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) course where she focused on helping participants find balance between being kind to themselves and bravely showing up in the world.
Dannielle has also led several rounds of a 6-week mindfulness-based parenting program, both in person and via telehealth. This program was designed to be inclusive and accessible, creating opportunities for all participants to harness the power of mindfulness to manage stress, enhance emotional regulation, and show up as the best version of themselves for their children and families.
As a coach, Dannielle has experience offering executive function support for teens and adults virtually, helping them develop essential skills for effectively managing their time and daily tasks to make progress toward their big-picture goals.
Dannielle is a deep listener and truly cares for each of her clients and students. Her teaching and practice are characterized by a profound respect for individual experiences and a passion for helping others achieve their personal and professional goals from a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens. You’ll soon learn that her style is bright, playful, and fun, proving that mindfulness isn’t always silent, serious, and somber.
Overall, Dannielle’s approach is centered on the belief that mindfulness is not just a practice, but a revolutionary act of self and community care. Whether you're seeking to reduce stress, enhance emotional well-being, or simply find moments of stillness in your daily life, Dannielle is excited to walk alongside you as you navigate this path together!
